<p>So a little background. I’m a junior chemistry major with a 4.0 GPA, and am starting the process of applying to graduate schools. </p>
<p>Lately, I’ve been getting A LOT of invitations to join multiple honor societies. I was wondering if there were really any benefits to joining these. Will a graduate program really care if I have some of these on my resume. And if so, are there any that will be more beneficial than others (phi kappa phi for example)? I just wanted to be sure before I started chucking out the money to join these things. </p>
