Do I actually have to buy the course reader for COMM ST 126??

<p>I’m taking a communication studies course with Prof. Bryant this Fall quarter and the syllabus says we need to get the course reader from the “Course Reader Material” store…I hear this place is a complete rip-off, and I’m not looking to spend upwards of $60 for a packet of paper. </p>

<p>Can anyone who has taken this course or another course with Prof. Bryant let me know if I really need the course reader to do well in class? I’m going to go to every lecture and take notes… will that be enough to do well on the exams?</p>
