Do I at least have a snowball's chance?

I know there have probably been a ton of these but I’m really nervous since I got deferred so what do you think my chances are of actually being accepted?

Out of state but I have legacy grandparents if that matters

ACT: 34 (but a 35 superscored if it’s important)
GPA: OVERALL Weighted: 3.8/4.5
Fresh:3.5/4.5 (all honors) Soph: 3.5/4.5 (all honors and 1 AP (US)) Junior: 4.3/4.5 (2 APs 1 honors all As) Senior 1st semester: 4.4/4.5 (4 AP classes, thats literally the highest my GPA could be I got all As)

Current Sched: Gym (required), AP Lit, AP Bio, AP Calc, AP Gov, Band, Marketing (elective)

APs: APUS: 4 , AP World: 4, AP Chem: 5

ECs:
-Eagle Scout
-4 yrs varsity swimming (captain senior year)
-2 yrs jv water polo, 2yrs varsity water polo (captain senior year)
-Volunteer at local charity organization summer 2010 (25 hrs/week)
-Volunteer lifeguard at local charity summer camp (4hrs/week)
-Habitat for Humanity the past three summers for a week
-HS Students for Obama fall 2008
-Young Democrats 2009, president 2010
-Drumline and Marching Band 4 years - Section leader in 2010

I got straight As last semester but will that be enough to actually get me accepted? My essays were probably not very good because I’m not a very creative writer but I worked on them really hard!

Depending on what program you applied to, I think your stats are good enough for LSA and CoE. There were tons of deferrals for EA, some of the top kids in my grade didn’t get accepted into LSA so I’m thinking UM doesn’t want to make the same mistake it did last year by underestimating how many students would actually enroll. This, I think, should translate out to more acceptances for RD.

So like possibly, I will be accepted RD? And I applied to LSA
