Do I Bother?

<p>Trying to decide whether I should take the Lit subject test. I have 1 subject test which is a 760. It will be the December date and I’m a senior, so that’s it, no going back. The only school I’m applying to that recommends 2 is UVa. The rest are 1 or 0. If I take it and do poorly, all of the colleges I’m applying to will see it (or should I just report SAT scores to UVa…I am not using my SAT but rather the ACT). I got a 5 on the AP Lang test and a 34 on my ACT Reading. </p>

<p>Should I take it? If so, who do I send scores to?</p>

<p>If you got a 5 in AP, you should do fine on the SAT lit. Your idea of just sending the scores to UVa is a good one, even though a low SAT subject score won’t make any difference to the other colleges.</p>
