During 8th grade, I took algebra 1 and spanish 1. Both count as high school level courses in my district. Do I count their grades when I’m calculating my unweighted gpa.

If they are on your high school transcript - yes.

But they probably aren’t on your transcipt unless you filled out paperwork and jumped through lots of hoops to get it on your transcipt…better check with the counselor.

In our school they are automatically put on your transcript. You don’t have to do anything special - the school does it automatically.

In my school, courses that count for high school credit that are taken while in middle school are automatically put on one’s transcript. For instance, I had to do nothing to see credit for Earth Science and Spanish on my transcript.
