<p>Fall 2011 transfer</p>

<p>I am in the spring semester of my sophomore year as a business (management/operations) major at stony brook unv. I want to transfer to JAMES MADISON for business. My GPA is a 3.17.</p>

<p>I am on the varsity football team at Stony. i dont plan on playing if i get in at JMU.
community service club
3 sport athlete in high school
worked at law office for one summer
interned at insurance company in manhattan for one summer
president of business honor society in high school
have two academic scholarship at stony
commuter</p>

<p>My act was a 29.
high school gpa 95.02 (rank 100/502)
I will have around 60 credits after this semester.</p>

<p>Just based off of looking at collegeboard.com your numbers from highschool look good enough to get in. Their range of ACT is 23-27 and you were above that with a 29. And 53% of their applicants have a GPA of 3.75+ and you met that too. I’m not too familiar with transfering but based off of the numbers you gave I definately think you have a chance.
