Do I have a little chance? Sorry my ECs are not stellar. My school is not in the U.S. so we don’t have many clubs, activities, and competitions.

Sorry my friend…you have approx. a .0099% chance…almost though! =D

first of all, I’m no expert on college admissions, so you should take my comment with a grain of salt
but, in my opinion, you definitely have more than a 0.01% chance, especially if an unique personality shines through in your essays
your SAT score may be below average though, so if you have the chance to improve it, that certainly would not hurt.
I’d say your EC’s are pretty solid, especially in your situation.

EDIT: ah I forgot to factor in the fact that you are international. I’m not familiar with the Duke stats for admitting internationals; you may want to look into that as well

@coIIege, you really think he has 0.0099% chance? or was that sarcasm…

and if so, based on what?

it was heavy sarcasm LImaxduke… (notice how .0099 is .0001 off of his prediction)…he has a solid shot =D

hahah i figured, but for a second I was thinking about it and yes i know the precents are close lol

I’d say you have a chance but rejection is definetly more likely than acceptance (as it is for most people).

Grow up, you have just as good of a shot as anyone else. Bring up your test scores (SAT), write good essays, play a varsity sport and just see what happens.
