I applied to Penn State in October and still haven’t heard back. My stats are very below the admission standards, 3.4 Weighted and 1170 new sat. My top school is Bama and I need to put down housing and tuition deposits down by February 1st but I’m just waiting from PSU to make the decision final. I only put down University park so do I have any chance of acceptance? Or should I put down my deposits for Bama and get it over with?
what is your unweighted GPA, what major did you apply for and did you put down summer?
My school doesn’t give UW and I applied Summer and DUS
My daughter only put down University Park too with NO summer and DUS. Her GPA weighted is 3.77 and 1120 New SAT. All of her other schools are waiting for a reply and she too has to put deposits down for February.
@chargers312 Well, you will hear from PSU by Jan 31, so at this point you may as well wait until Feb 1 to deposit at Bama so you will know for sure.
