Do I even have a chance at the T14 law schools?

I’m a junior at UCLA, an economics major and formerly a neuroscience minor (don’t have time to finish)

My GPA is crap right now: (3.22)
My practice LSAT is okay: 165 (Actual past LSAT; I still have to get some study material and study)

I’m a leader at in my fellowship, I run a small but international art boutique, and I’m currently talking to agents about getting my manuscript published.

Do I even have a shot at the t14? And what about UCLA/USC/Boston U?

definitely not. google “law school predictor” to find out what schools you should be applying to.

Are you a URM?

It all depends on what happens when you actually take the LSAT. Do that first. Chances later.

What twinkie said is absolute bs. I’d suggest you do some intense and serious studying done for the lsat, and try to aim for 170+ (it’s possible, trust me). You got accepted to UCLA, so you must have some intelligence that will enable you to succeed on the lsat (with lots of hard work of course).

After that, aim for the lower t14s but keep lower ranked schools as backups. Also, if you have impressive work experience after college, you may have a shot at northwestern.

As aforementioned, URM status will help you significantly, if you have it.
