I want to go to Northwestern so bad. I almost applied early but my parents talked me out of it because we didn’t have enough money to pay for a NU education right now. Can I still get in regular?

School: Public in North Texas, semi-competitive, opened just as I became a freshman, in fall of 2002.
Gender: Male
Race: Black
Intended Major: Broadcast Journalism
GPA: 3.5 uw, 4.1 uw
Rank: top 12%
Grades: mostly A’s, a few B’s from freshman and sophomore year. Joked around too much.
Classes: Honors/AP classes freshman and sophomore year, AP classes junior and senior year. FYI: couldn’t take all the classes I want because in TX, you must have a sport as a class in order to play in the sport and it must be double blocked, that is on A and B days. Only could take 6 classes both semesters all years. And sports don’t count toward GPA

SAT: 660w 620cr 600m <------horrible I know
SAT II’s: taking them in december and january
AP: 3 - US History and English Language
