do i even have a shot for CAS? please chance

<p>Im applyind ED for CAS, just gonna give u guys a brief lowdow:</p>

<p>Stats:</p>

<p>GPA UW: 3.93/4
SAT: 2270 ( 800 M, 750 W, 720 CR)
SAT II: 710 M, 720 U.S. Hist.
ACT: 34 (submitted both ACT and SATs)</p>

<p>ECs:
have done indian classical music for over 11 yrs (vocal), i am very passionate as i wrote about this in my essay. i have released an album and gave many vocal concerts.
treasurer and revitilized SPUD, a club aiming to promote diversity in our community in school.
VP of our Quiz Bowl team.
over 100 volunteer hours (volunteered at a local hospital).
shadowed a pediatrician in the summer.
was accepted into a science and math program at the university of michigan, i had the privielge of listening to lectures by real UM professors for a 2 week course in genetics.
(MMSS)
essays, IMO, were pretty good, very descriptive i guess.
Teacher recs should be solid.

<p>btw, my ethnicity is Asian/Indian, and even though my school doesnt rank, I am in the top 10% in my class for sure, if not in the top 10 students. Also, i was part of NHS for one of my clubs as well</p>

<p>I think you have a solid shot. I am not an admissions officer so don’t quote me on that lol. Sometimes Penn rejects people for no obvious reason. But everything looks solid IMO. I don’t know if your race will hurt you (even though it is a minority, there are a lot represented at Penn) but good luck! You will find out soon!</p>
