I attended a private school for my freshman and sophomore year in which I had an 83 average. Junior year I attended a public school with a 97 average and got a 2010 on my sat which I will be taking again(btw on my public school transcript my old schools grades are listed as credited but with no grades is there any possibility that the colleges will just accept my public school transcript?). I had the low GPA in private school because of various medical conditions that I have documentation for. I am founder and captain of my school’s robotics team, have hundreds of hours of volunteer work under my belt, attend math club, student government, and a youth organizations meetings. I am a coast guard auxiliary member and am currently working in a university on a new type of satellite imaging. I want to major in computer science and have glistening letters of recommendation from various teachers and an MIT educated professor. Is there any chance that I can get into these schools with my private school grades? If not, what schools should I be looking in to? Edit: btw I am not a resident of CA or TX

Look at the common data set for each school, section C, and see how you compare. Realize that UT’s data is brought down by their 7% rule so an OOS applicant must have much higher stats, and lots of income to pay the OOS rates.
