Thank You

The only weaknesses I think I have are that I had a few Bs, 82 in Bio, 84 in Algebra 2, 86 in Precalc, 88 in an elective (Research, but only 10-15 students from each grade are selected to be able to take it), 86 in Physics 1+2, and I think I will have an 88 for Calc AB and a 85-87 in AP Chem for the first quarter of this year.

The major I’m probably pursuing is Business Administration.

Your list is extremely reach heavy. Are you happy at a SUNY? If not, I would take away some of the reaches and add some matches.

It also seems prestige hunting instead of looking for a strong fit.

Also, what’s your budget? USC and UCLA give no aid for OOS applicants.

UCLA offers little to no financial aid to out of state students so is your family fine with a $65K/year price tag for you to attend?

UCLA does not offer a Business Administration Major nor do they have an Undergrad Business school, so what major are you applying at UCLA?

You do look like a competitive applicant but consider UCLA as a Reach school.

Thank You for replying, I don’t mind going to Stony Brook or maybe Binghamton for undergrad, but I would prefer NYU. I’m applying to so many reaches, because I want to see if I get into any of them. Also my parents and I are fine with any price, but thank you for providing this information

Gumbymom, I didn’t even know they didn’t have a business administration major or an undergrad Business school, so I’m very thankful that you let me know, after looking through their undergraduate majors I would probably pursue Business Economics
