When Should I be hearing back from them?

jdotj4 - Did you send an essay? What dept. or major did you apply for at Pitt? When did Pitt's admissions web portal say your application was complete? YJ76

Yes i sent in 1 essay. It was pretty well written, but everyone thinks their essay is well written :p

I applied in for the Dietrich Sch Arts and Sciences

It said that my application was complete 10/19/11

I think you have a very good chance, i wouldnt worry much and you should probably hear for them in the next few weeks since they are rolling. I applied at the end of october and heard before thanksgiving(last year).

thank you very much for the response.

Do you attend Pitt now?

Accepted

Congratulations jdotj4 !!! Looks like our D has another week to go before hearing about her 10/27 application to Nursing. What major are you pursuing in Arts & Sciences, assuming you enroll? YJ76

Im trying to study Psychology, then go to med school to become a psychiatrist.

Best of luck jdotj4 ... our D is also considering Biology (pre-med) at Allegheny College. Allegheny also has Psychology and (they claim) a high percentage of med school placements. YJ76

Thank you for your kind words, and best of luck to your daughter!
