Do I have a chance?

Hey guys, I was just wondering what you thought of my chances of getting into some different colleges. I attend a public high school in the suburbs of Cincinnati, and am a sophomore. I would like to be a prosecutor, and have a serious passion for community service, and making the world a better place through criminal justice. I am interested in attending a school in Chicago, NYC, DC, Baltimore, or Pennsylvania. Some schools I’m interested in are UChicago, DePaul, NYU, Columbia, Georgetown, George Washington, Johns Hopkins or UPenn, I would also probably apply to Ohio State, University of Kentucky, and possibly Penn State.

Marching Band for 4 years, and will be in for 6 years by the end of my senior year. I play percussion, and have actually competed in WGI, where Dixie Heights made it to 12th in the world finals. I would also probably play in the marching band in whatever college I go to.

I have also started volunteering at the Cincinnati Museum Center in the History Museum.

I play on the somewhat successful varsity lacrosse team.

I participate in Hanner’s Heroes, a program in which high school students help mentor first graders that struggle with reading.

As for grades, I have never gotten lower than an A, and have a 4.0 so far. My school doesn’t allow sophomores to take AP classes, so I’ve only taken “accelerated” classes thus far. However, I’m scheduled to take 5 classes at the local college, Thomas More next year, which would mean that I would never set foot in Dixie Heights again.

My test scores are by far my weak spot. I’m averaging at like, a 25 on the ACT. I have a while to build it up, though.

So, just tell me if my goals are at all realistic, and if not, what might be some better colleges.
