Do I Have a Chance?

Hello. I’m currently a junior in high school. I’m not quite certain where I want to go for college yet, but I was thinking about CWRU. Here’s some things about me:
•African American/White
•I’m on my high school’s FRC robotics team
•My GPA is a 4.246
• Vice president of my class
•I have been in honors classes throughout high school, but this year i took English and History at Tri-C rather than AP classes at my hish school.

I also took my ACT. My score is no where near
where it needs to be. I did not study for it as much as I would have liked to. I only studied for the science portion. I got a 21. I KNOW I need to do A LOT better if I want to go to CWRU. I have not taken a SAT exam yet.
I know this is not a lot to go off of. What kind of scores got you into CWRU? What extra curricular things will help me get in?

Before you zero in on a school, and CW is a good one, the real question is…can you afford it? I would suggest you take the SAT and start looking for schools that are affordable, and narrow down from there.

ACT needs a lot of work. A 32 would make you competitive for CWRU but the GPA is still much too low.
