As the title stated I would like to know if I am competitive for brown Ed next year. I am from a small public in mass with almost no history of sending kids to top schools.
GPA ~94 uw or ~3.8 weighted is probably ~3.95 due to lack of APs (school only offers apwh and apush as well as pre ap English before senior year)
Class rank: approx top ten %
ACT: 33 second sitting. Was wondering if I should retake since I have consistently gotten 34s in practice tests
Ap scores: on APWH expecting 5 in USH
First Gen college student if it makes a difference
Extra curriculars: varsity baseball and track 9-12, won regional math competition ( nothing major), NHS, class VP, section leader in band, ~100 hours volunteering, summer job, a couple clubs (kinda light I know)
Essays should be solid and I feel I would fit well into Brown. Recs will be excellent as I have had the same teachers for years and we are relatively close.
Will take subject tests soon expecting 700+ in math, Chem, and history
Is this too far of a reach or is there I slight chance Brown would accept me? Thanks!
