Do i have any chance at any UC? Any of them?

I got a little shy of 1600 on the sat.
I have over a 4.0gpa
I have not taken any sat II’s.

I know i can get accepted into any CSU i want, but i was wondering can i get accepted to any UC’s? I could try to take the SAT II’s but i dont think i would get higher than a 300-400 on the english, and maybe a 500 on the math. Any help?

Just be honest with me guys. Thanks.

Also, when are the deadlines for applications?

With a UC gpa over 3, you are guaranteed a spot in UC which may only be Merced, but they WILL accept you. (Assumes State doesn’t cut the budget any more.) UC apps are due by Nov 30. But don’t wait until the last date bcos the server overloads and crashes.

Incidentally, professional schools also require testing, so you might as well get used to it if grad school is in your future plans.

I agree about at least UCM, and maybe UCR, if you take the SAT subject tests, and took the right courses. Not sure about the “any CSU” part.

Thanks for being honest to me guys. Would i have any chance at UCSB though? Like a high gpa is worthless without a good sat II and sat score i guess. I took all regular and honors in highschool.

Any chance at all for UCSB?

On collegeboard, it says

"* SAT Reasoning / ACT score report due by: 30-JAN

 • SAT Subject score report due by: 30-JAN"

How can the sat’s be due after the deadline?

^^^ That information is correct. Even though the application due date is November 30th, they give you until January 30th to get all your testing in. I think December is the last month you can take the SAT/SAT II tests, but double check. Also note you have to take two subject tests to apply to the UC’s. Good luck.

You would be okay for UC Merced, UC Santa Cruz, UC Santa Barba, and UC Riverside. Nothing more though (unless you’re hooked).
