Do I have Any Chance getting in to Pre med?

<p>Hi, i’m a UIUC student becoming a sophomore upcoming semester. I’m majoring in Advertising and not sure if I want to continue with it.
My current GPA is 3.66 and i am going to strive hard to bring the grade up.</p>

<p>Do you think I could continue with advertising and get into medical school if i take the required courses?
Or would it be better if I change into another major such as Bio/Chem/MCB etc.?</p>

<p>My gut says you need a major that sounds more academic. It doesn’t have to be science but maybe something like sociology or psych might offer the things that attracted you to advertising?</p>

<p>Yes, IFF you get A’s in those required courses. But realistically, advertising is generally considered an easy major at most colleges, so what is the likelihood that you can ramp up your work ethic?</p>

<p>Oh okay! So i guess I’ll try to change my major to psych - feel like psych would be more beneficial related to work too.
