Do i have ANY chance of getting into this school?

Gpa: 3.38 unweighted (at a top private school in the bay area of California)…i think its about a 3.4-3.5 UC GPA
Sat1: 1320 (best, 690 math, 630 verbal)
SAT2’s: 700 writing, 630 MathIC, Bio 590 (eek 590)

National Merit Commended Scholar (210)

----I know my GPA is low, and SATII’s are not great, and SAT is a bit in the range…but was hoping National merit made up for it a bit…

I agree with iamhung - you really don’t have much of a chance at UCLA, but a pretty good one at UCSB

Anyone know when decisions come out this year?

UCLA: Reach
UCSB: Match

Your numbers put you into about a 20% chance for UCLA. So that is a reach for sure. However, your essay may be compelling enough to push you over the top.
