do i have any chance...or should i forget it

alright I’m a high school junior.

Rank: 1/413
Cumulative GPA: 4.445
SAT: Verbal: 740 Math:700 Writing:760 (October was my first time)
Combined:2190 I know i need to improve
I’m currently in AP American History, AP Biology, AP Eng Lang as well as AP Spanish.
So ill take the history, biology, and spanish sat 2s in june.

I’m just worried because at my school i opted to take two lab sciences, but i really hate physics so i took college preparatory instead of AP. i dont want this to penalize me when applying to princeton. i have A’s in all the other APs too and of course the regular physics.

I want to be a cardiac thoracic surgeon. I know that there is not a specific pre-medical program offered at princeton. so should i just claim an obscure major?

I know my SAT scores are no where near acceptable. I will strive to prefect them. but honestly, do i stand a chance?

You need to relax, seriously. There is a significant correlation between perfectionism and depression, ever heard of it?
Your SAT scores are fine! Don’t forget to breathe and you’ll be ok.

Umm, your SAT actually adds up to 2200. That is perfectly fine. Seriously, chill.

And when there is no Pre-Med major, don’t just randomly pick something. Pick like Biology or Biochem or something along those lines that overlaps with courses needed for “pre-med.”

i really hope you’re a ■■■■■

calm down and enjoy highschool…ur grades are fine, be a kid and dont worry so much
