I’m not gonna lie on this one. I am a junior in No.VA. And i just wanted to be assesed by some abobe average kids. I wanna go to UVA and possibly transfer to somewhere else. My parents have been her for about 18 or so years and are from afghanistan. The only reason i even hope to do anything more than accounting is because every single person in my family other than me in my family is smart and makes 200+. My uncle does research at UVA and wrote a 40 page thesis at UVA and has close knit ties with all his professors, he has a masters in Electrical engineering and is going to go to law school there. I want to go to business.

<p>The GPA could use some work, and you should probably aim for 2000-2100 on the SATs to be competitive for Virginia. However, maybe your ties with your uncle could help you out. Also, remember to write great essays to make up for what you may lack in terms of numbers. I wouldn’t completely lose hope, but the odds seem against you unless you improve in some areas.</p>
