<p>I got my May SAT scores back today…and completely bombed. </p>

<p>I need a much higher score for a few of the schools I’m looking at. If my CR stays the same, it isn’t the end of the world but I’d like to jump 50 points and about 80 points on the math. I’m taking my subject tests in June, so I can’t take that SAT.</p>

<p>If I take it and improve a lot in October, will I still be able to send out only the improved scores to colleges for early application? I want to apply early to a few schools that became more selective, such as SUNY New Paltz. I don’t know whether I’m screwed or not, so please help me out. Thanks!</p>

<p>I don’t know what your scores were, but schools superscore the SAT’s, which means they take the best scores from each category from all the times you take the test. Also if you are struggling with the SAT’s a good alternative are the ACT’s…worth taking.</p>
