Do I have to report assistantship wages as "other assistance"?

<p>So, in order to submit the FASFA and apply for FA (which for grad school is pretty much just loans, outside of formal funding, but it might be a good idea to have that possibility open just in case), my university requires us to report “non-university scholarships, company reimbursement, and other assistance.” I have an assistantship through the university which pays me a monthly stipend. Would that be “university aid” or “other assistance” that has to be reported as such?</p>

<p>Ask the university. My son’s assistantship was listed as a scholarship on his 1098T. My own was given to me as salary and I got a W-2.</p>
