Do I have to take the SAT again?

Hey so I took the March SAT and got a 2230 (CR: 730, Math: 720, Writing: 780). I want to be an engineer, and my top schools are Stanford and UPenn. Some others are Johns Hopkins, Rice, and UC Berkeley. I’m not sure my math score is high enough, although I was thinking I could just take the Math II SAT (don’t worry I’m a good math student, gonna be in AP Calc BC next year). I just wanted to hear your input on whether or not I should take it again. Thanks!

If you’re confident that you’ll improve, do it.

Or take the ACT and see how you do there. 2230 is pretty darn good already, though.

If you inquire about SAT/ACT scores look up the class profile information for the current or last years entering class that most schools will post.

[Applicant Profile : Stanford University](<a href=“Page Not Found : Stanford University”>Page Not Found : Stanford University)

[Penn Admissions: Incoming Class Profile](http://www.admissions.upenn.edu/profile/)

Each school you are interested in should have this information. Make your decisions based on the higher percentage of accepted applicants. Good Luck
