During the 2016-2017 school year, I attended a university “school #1” (but only for one semester - fall). During that time I became even more depressed than I already was. I somehow managed to finish my fall semester but I did absolutely terrible. I took spring semester off and started school once again in the summer (currently going to school). But the thing is that I started at a community college “school #2” near my home and I didn’t transfer my of my credits from school #1. After 2 (hopefully 1 full year) at school #2, I want to transfer to “school #3”. Will I have to also submit my credits from school #1 to school #3? Or will I be lucky and only transfer my credits from school #2? (I live in Texas if that helps)
You are required to submit transcripts from ALL post-secondary institutions that you have attended.
You have to send all your transcripts. The place that admits you gets to decide which credits transfer and which don’t. If you believe that one of the classes should have transferred, you can petition the new place to reconsider those credits.
You need to let #2 know about #1. Have you done that yet? Go talk with your advisor and get it sorted out.
