<p>But you didn’t describe where you were going to wear them. On college campuses, no one goes to school dressed up unless you are presenting or something like that. If you aren’t doing something of that nature, then simply go to class in whatever clothes you want.</p>

<p>If your tucked in shirts ruffle at the waist, try purchasing dress shirts labeled slim fit. They will be tapered and will skim your torso.</p>
<p>Here is my guideline:</p>
<p>If they are pleated, tuck in your shirt. Pleated pants naturally fit looser and look better with a tucked shirt.</p>
<p>If they are non-pleated and fit well, you can do either. You also need to have shorter length shirt that isn’t too long, otherwise it just looks weird. </p>
<p>But, if you are in a professional situation (like a presentation or an interview), tuck in the shirt!</p>

<p>I always showered before coming to class, unlike some people, but I still fit the above description. Also tucked in shirts make me all hot and sweaty so I tend to avoid them at all cost.</p>
