Strengths and Weakness’s-
Strength- Heavily focused ECs, shows passion. Course Rigor.
Weakness- GPA + ACT.

I actually plan on applying to their HPME program, so my medical ECs will have more of an effect.

Your stats are certainly in the range for students that NU accepts. You should definitely apply.

You also have an extremely interesting and undoubtedly unique background, which should help.

However with NU (and every one of its peer institutions) it becomes a numbers game. Many students with your stats are accepted, many students with your stats are not.

I don’t know whether being Libyan helps or not either.

Good luck!!!

I think you have a good chance to get into Northwestern. However. HPME is very very very very hard to get into, even for 4.0 GPA valedictorians- ur volunteering helps though

Thanks for the feedback!
Trust me, I don’t have my hopes up for HPME, even though it is by far my top choice it is still a near 1% acceptance.

Anymore?

These are very strong stats (esp give your courseload) and you have a lot of relevant volunteering experiences for what you want to go into. You’re a strong candidate for sure.

Wonderin if there be nymore too cents out dere.
