Do I need a notebook during summer orientation?

<p>3 days summer orientation (in the beginning of July). Do I need to have notebook? I am planning to buy one for college at the end of august.</p>

<p>it might help to jot important stuff down during workshops and stuff about registration, classes, etc</p>

<p>I believe the op is referring to a notebook (laptop) computer. If thats the case then it wouldn;t hurt you to have it and you could potentially get some of your tech stuff taken care but it won’t be a neccesity.</p>

<p>Yea, I was talking about notebook as a laptop, not as a 200 pages book :)</p>

<p>As a side note, you might find it useful to carry around a small (pocket-size) notebook during the orientation to jot down times you need to be places, new people’s e-mails, etc.</p>

<p>no, definitely do not need a laptop. At my orientation, we were given monthly planners/notebooks to write on.</p>
