I did some paper work for some clients, I want to write it in common app, but I’m not sure if I need to contact the clients or not.

Cause I used a different first name when I was doing the paper work(aka “english name”, the name that english teachers make you have when you’re taking english classes).
Background story: I left the US when I was young, and I was not sure if I should change my first name to those “english names”, now I have decided I don’t want to change, but when I was doing the works I used my english name.
I’m wondering if I should contact the clients to tell them my first name in case the admission officers check on them?

For example, an admission officers might call them and ask, have you ever hired a person named “Jennifer X”? And the clients might say no, cause the first name is different.

Do admission officers usually check those things? Do I need to contact the clients to inform them about my first name?

Thanks for answering.
