Do I need to have my homeschool diploma notarized?

I read that as long as my transcripts are notarized, I don’t have to have the diploma notarized, and there isn’t usually a signature space for notaries on most templates so I assumed it was true, but I just wanted to double check. Thanks!

The best place to find out is to ask the colleges you are applying to. I really doubt they care. They want the transcript.

That’s great news! Thank you!

Getting a homeschool transcript notarized seems to be a meaningless activity to every party involved in college admissions. Notarization merely confirms the identity of the transcript maker, not its credibility. What establishes credibility more than notarization are book reading lists, test scores that are consistent with transcript grades, evidence of academic work (e.g. writing sample), transcripts from dual credit classes taken at community colleges, letters of recommendation from non-family members, etc.
