Do I need to know these for SAT CHem II?

Sp orbitals
Quantum numbers, n,l,ml,ms
Sigma/Pi bonds

I got 750 on that test, I didn’t know hybrid orbitals well, I skipped those questions. I don’t even know what I quantum number is so…

What kind of hybrid orbital questions were they???

When I took the SAT in Chemistry, there were no direct questions on any of those topics (certainly no quantum numbers). However, you should have a conceptual understanding of bonding and how it affect a molecule. For example, knowing that graphite is good as a lubricant and conducts electricity follows from its unhybridized p orbitals existing between its sheets.
