Do I need to know where to send the Scores when signing up?

When signing up for the ACT/SAT they ask where I want my scores to go.
The thing is, I don’t know! It’s not like I’ve actually applied for colleges yet or anything…
can I just leave it blank, and send the scores in later when I Actually apply to colleges?

As part of the application, you can designate up to four colleges to receive your score automatically when the score comes out. You are not required to designate any. But those four are “free” sends. If you want to send the score later to a college, it costs an extra fee per college.

lets say I’m not entirely sure which colleges I am going to apply to. Should I still put down potential colleges, as to possibly save me money later?

Yes…

At a minimum, put down your financial safety school(s) and schools that you are considering. Might as well take advantage of the 4 free picks.

So, perhaps your state flagship, or your local state school and a couple others that you’re considering.

You can if you want, I did so every time. Just know that if you do take advantage of the free score reports, you won’t be able to withdraw your score from these designated colleges later.
