<p>I am a jr. in High School, and so far(in 9th and 10th grade) I have pretty much had a B/B+ average (my school does not have GPAs), and on my last practice SAT test I got a 2140. For the first quarter this year, I got mainly 1 A-, 3 B+, and 2 Bs. For college, the one school that I have really liked is the University of Chicago. With these grades, and a little higher SAT scores, could I get in? Also my school was ranked 7th by the Wall Street Journal for 2007, so it is a good school, and I am a captain of 1 sport, and so far the president of one club.</p>
<p>^ You might need a big more EC. And yes, if your junior year goes well aka 4.0, you should be fairly even.</p>
