In Barron’s Chem SAT 2 Test Prep book, 6th edition, on page 183 it talks about non-standard-state cell potentials…even the name is terrifying. I have not learned about it and do not want to learn about it.

Is this topic tested on the Chem SAT or is this a really old edition? I reviewed SparkNotes prior to this and they did not have this stuff. So is this just the typical Barron’s overkill material?

I remember there being two or three questions on cell potentials and electrochem, but that was it. They spent more time on equilibrium, pressure, and reactions during the test.
