Do I stand a chance? - Out of state - ED 1

Hey guys, do you think I would stand a chance at Harvey Mudd ED for Computer Science? I’m from New Jersey and am a guy, if that counts for adding diversity towards HMC.

Stats:

GPA: 96.5% Weighted (School doesn’t do unweighted). GPA un-weighted is like 3.8-3.9 excluding freshman year.
SAT: 2160 (680 CR, 690 Writing, 790 Math).
SAT Subject Tests: 800 Math II, 790 Chemistry
AP’s taken: Ap Biology (4), AP Chemistry (4). (Not most rigorous - I know)
Senior Schedule: Ap Physics B, Ap Calculus AB, Ap Environmental, Robotics, English 12 CP, Senior Service, Adv Gym (Mandatory), Science Research Honors.
Class Rank: 6/361 (Top 2%)

I have a very strong upward curve for grades between Freshman year and now, like a 3.4 Freshman to 3.8-3.9 now.

Do I stand a chance at all or has admissions just gotten impossibly harder now? And should I arrange for an interview maybe via phone since I live so far away?

That’s about everything. Thanks in advance everyone!

I think you would have a very solid shot. I recommend visiting campus if you can, particularly for ED. Mudd is a unique place and nothing beats actually being there to help you decide if it really is a good fit. Also, contact the admissions person for your area to see when she/he will there.
Be sure you understand what ED implies. You are bound to go to Mudd if you get in. Changing your mind is not a good idea - schools can and do share information about ED acceptances.

I fully realize that Harvey Mudd is where I want to be, after learning more about it I have learned it is a perfect fit for me. The only factor that would prevent me from going is a terrible financial aid package, but with Mudd’s financial aid statistics I’m sure this won’t happen. I will definitely contact admissions as I’m sure I could explain very well my reason and drive to want to attend HMC.

Any other thoughts are greatly appreciated. :)
