Do I stand a chance?

Well seeing everyone post their SAT scores is kinda scaring me…I really just want to know if I stand a chance and what colleges do I stand a chance of being accepted to?
I got a 1930 on the SAT:
CR: 610
M: 670
W: 650

And my high school gpa is only a 3.2 but I’m an eagle scout and a 3 time national champion in show choir and I went to Australia with people to people student ambassadors and then they invited me to go to obamas presidential inauguration

I want to go to U of Washington, U of Iowa, or UC Santa Barbara…should I shoot higher or lower than those schools?

You need to add some safeties. U of Washington an UCSB are big reaches for you.

Oh and I’m a California resident…forgot to mention that

Yeah, you need safeties. But depending on what else is in your app, who knows, maybe UWash is looking for a singing Eagle Scout. You never know with these things. But seriously, you should have some safeties.

I think you’ll get in at least one place on your list! People exaggerate a bit, because I know several people who got SATs in the 1800 + choir + community service who get in UCSB haha. Good luck!! Still, maybe UCSC as a safety? I heard the campus is beautiful.

UPDATE!!!:
I have a 3.38 gpa…I took some more classes to boost my gpa and they were just added to my transcript

Oh and I just found out my grandma is best friends with the former head of oceanography and marine bio (or whatever it’s called) at the University of Washington (Seattle) so I’m feeling a lot more confident :). [she is good friends with the admissions people there and wants to help me get in haha]
