Do I stand a chance?

I want to pursue a medical career, but I’m not even sure if I stand a chance at the schools I’m dreaming of getting into. I’m trying for Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and UCSD, and on the latter, Cornell, if that’s even possible. Which schools are in my “league”? I go to a public school in CA. And I’m Asian, if that matters.

My freshman/sophomore class schedule isn’t at all impressive; it’s very basic. My school, at most, has about 10 honors/AP classes total. My school only also only has six class periods, so class selections are limited. My freshman and sophomore GPAs were very low, I was barely managing a 3.3 GPA.

9th grade schedule:

English, Biology, Algebra, Health Ed/Career Ed, Japanese 1/2, Phys Ed

My freshman classes were mainly “required” classes (*) that the school made students take. Japanese (my school makes students take 2 yrs min.) wasn’t on my choice of a foreign language, yet the school put me in because of the lack of room in the other language classes. I was terribly lost in Japanese and managed to pass with a C. The other class that lowered my GPA was…physical ed. This was because my physical ed teacher literally failed every student who didn’t meet the “fitness standards.” I got A’s in all my other classes.

10th grade schedule:

English, Physics, Geometry, Spanish 1/2, MW History, AP Art history

I did badly in Physics and Geometry, passing with a C and a B. I was enrolled into AP Art History without notice and the school didn’t let me drop the class. I got a D in APAH, but I managed to pass the AP exam with a 4. I got A’s in all my other classes.

11th grade schedule:

English Honors, Pre-Calculus, Chem Honors, Spanish 3/4, USH, AP Studio Art

I’m planning to take the AP Chem test along with the AP Bio test, which I’m self studying for. I’m picking myself up Junior year. Taking studio only to get the passing “art” grade that’s required for me to graduate. I’m currently passing all my classes with A’s and I’m managing my unweighted 4.0.

SAT1: 2250 first go. (Planning to take it a second time to improve, hopefully)
SAT2: I’m going to take Chem, Bio, and Math I. (My strongest subjects) I may take Lit.

ECs: co-president of animal rights club, co-president of Amnesty club for our school, Red Cross, 200+hr community service, 100+hr tutoring children
Sports: tennis, golf (2 yrs each)
Other: Won 2 art awards

And hopefully my 12th grade schedule:
AP English, AP Calculus, AP US gov, AP Spanish lang, biotech, Phys Ed (req.)

bump…
