Chances for:

USC
UCLA
Stanford
UCB
UCSB
Pepperdine
UCI
NYU
Chapman
Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles

Sat’s are a little low for some of your choices, but you seem to have a really awesome passion for the flute and if you put that into your essays i think it increases your chances a lot.

USC - match-slight reach
UCLA - match-slight reach
Stanford - far reach
UCB - slight reach
UCSB - safe match
Pepperdine - safety
UCI - safe match
NYU - match-slight reach
Chapman - safety
Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles - safety

bumb bumb bumb

USC: slight reach
UCLA: slight reach
Stanford: possible
UCB: slight reach-reach
UCSB: match
UCI: match
NYU: match-slight reach

Your SAT score is a bit low. Your passion for the flute could definitely help you get into Stanford, but that SAT score is weighting you down.

wat sat score would you reccomend for USC or UCLA to be considered a “match”? USC is my #1 choice

i think high 2000’s low 2100’s would make you a match.

Just focus on raising the CR, that alone would probably keep you out of USC…

raise the CR section. and your flute stuff is amazing:

USC - high match
UCLA - high match
Stanford - reach
UCB - high match
UCSB - low match
Pepperdine - safety
UCI - low match
NYU - match
Chapman - safety
Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles - safety

thanks for the responses everyone. yea, i suck at cr. i think i can raise it though cause i have been concentrating more on math than on cr when i study.

i’m hoping the flute stuff will help. i was also 2nd chair in a california all-state high school wind orchestra. i was suprised that i even got chosen to be in the band cause only 10 ppl were selected in ca. i will be in it again this year (i am a junior) and hopefully be 1st chair instead of second chair.

any other ppl want to comment on my chances?? please feel free

2nd chair in CA?!?!?! dam dude. you must rock.

besides the SAT scores, is there anything that I should improve on for ucla or usc?? wat would u say are my strengths and weaknesses?? thanks again guys
