Do I stand out?

Just in terms of extracurriculars, how am I doing?
Figure Skating- 7-12
School Chorus- 4-12
Debate team- 9-12 [captain 12]
Girl Scouts- 3-9 [leadership award 9] < should I bother to list that? It was a huge part of my life for a long time
Elderly friendships- community service- 9-12 [service leader 11-12, NHS]
Youth in Government- 9-12- very active- [outstanding statesman 9, floor leader 11, house presider 12]
Yearbook- 11-12 [editor in chief 12]
Photography contributor to the school newspaper 11-12
French Club 8-12

For things I’ve been involved in since before high school, can/should I say that somewhere? How?
Also, I’m very into photography but I don’t know how to list that. Art is my passion- not sure how to list that either. Thoughts?

You’re doing pretty well, though nothing is terribly “unique.” That’s okay, so long as you can demonstrate that “passion” that colleges are always talking about. If Girl Scouts was a big part of your life, why wouldn’t you list it?

Oh, sorry didn’t see that last part. You can list things that aren’t clubs as “Extracurriculars.” This is perfectly fine and sometimes even shows initiative on the student’s part to do things not club/organization related

Stand out where?

No, this post does not stand out.

haha jk (well…not really)

Anyways, to stand out, you shouldn’t be asking yourself this question. Just follow your passions and it’ll show, given you put enough effort in.
