<p>I had a hard time adjusting to college, and had to withdraw from one class, and got a D in a class related to my major (I’m retaking it), my first semester. If I do really well the rest of the semesters, will I have a chance getting into Grad school?</p>
<p>Graduate students are many things, but one thing they are not is perfect. You do not need a 4.0 to get into grad school and one D in your first semester will not matter. Just don’t make a habit of it :)</p>
<p>It is much more important to be doing well at the end of your Bachelor’s than at the beginning. There is always an adjustment period when starting college and no one will hold it against you.</p>
