I am a sophomore chemistry major taking organic chemistry, calculus III, physics, and some other required english class. Surprisingly, the problems are not because of organic chem, but rather with physics. I don’t think the material is hard, but its the fact that i spend almost two hours daily focusing on chem and calc which limits my physics studying time significantly. I had my first physics test today and I know I did poorly on it. Should I drop physics with a W and take it over the summer when I have more time to study.
I would at least wait for your test back first. A lot of students do poorly (overall percentage wise) on their tests, but usually they are curved. That being said taking Physics along with Ochem and Calc 3 can be a heavy course load, I’d say wait it out a bit more while keeping a close eye on the withdrawal date, whenever it is.
