Ok after seeing Jayeez’s post of how he got into business, i really couldn’t help but wonder, do International Students get higher priority? He says that he applied in late December, file was completed on the 1st of February, and he just got accepted. I applied before the deadline, completed on Dec. 20 due to a transcript mess up, and am still waiting. No offense to jayeez or anything but I think my test scores and stuff are better, I got a 32 on my ACT’s. I know it costs more for International Students to attend, so I’m guessing maybe UIUC wants more international students for the money???

I’m not sure about the priority. However, my acceptance is not simply based on my SATs, but also my HKCEE (hong kong public exam) and school records
and I guess they tend to have a lower standard in standardized tests for international students? since it is understandable that english is our second language…or else why is there toefl…
anyway, with a 32 on ACT, I bet you’ll get in ultimately! good luck!
:)

P.S. I have decided not to go there anyway coz I have just received my acceptence from wisconsin few hours ago!

P.P.S. I’m a she :P

Sorry for the misconceptions Jayeez, I’m Chinese too so…yea…LOL. Thanks for the encouragement and congratulations at Wisconsin; I would go there as it is my father’s alumnus but it’s too expensive and just logistically too hard to do.
