Do it at Penn+nowhere else

Submatriculation, BenFranklin Honors Seminars, Fox Leadership, Fels Institute=====take classes in Wharton but major in SEAS or SAS…it is all there for you.

http://www.fels.upenn.edu/undergraduate.htm

<a href=“Penn CURF”>Penn CURF;

http://www.gse.upenn.edu/degrees_programs/submatriculation.php

At which other college can you hit up:

A downtown party
A campus bar
A frat party
A house party

All in a single night! What other campus has the combination of private housing, frats, and proximity to a city to make this partying dream possible?

Even Nursing has some interesting classes–there’s this one criminology class about solving murder mysteries at the scene of the crime. It’s like CSI in the form of a class!

And I cannot emphasize enough the sweetness of being in SAS and taking Wharton classes. I am not in Wharton nor would I want to be, but I love some of their classes.

BYO Restaurants
Dance Clubs
Theatre Productions
Major League Sports
Restaurant Week

and take a cab for not too much money!!!

Philadelphia is a great college city too. Big enough to be interesting and full of cultural and economic resources, but not so big as to drain the campus itself of student life.

A bunch of colleges actually offer Forensic Chemistry at a major… so that’s not unique to Penn. The other things are though which are really cool.

Spring Fling :D

The Burger at Rouge!!
Reading Terminal Market…http://www.readingterminalmarket.org/

and those Amish in Lancaster County

More foreign languages to study than you can imagine!
Northeast corridor!
TWO Wawas! (and a 7-11)
International House!

and don’t forget our secret weapon, a babe for a President!

uh…

I think all of the interdisciplinary study opportunities are the best:

 • being able to take classes in any of the undergraduate schools
 • being able to take classes in the graduate schools (except for Med and Dental)
 • being able to get 2 undergraduate degrees at once in a specialized joint program
 • being able to design your own dual degree program that lets you get 2 undergraduate degrees at once

Campus:

 • Food trucks and 5-star restaurants on campus
 • Shops like Urban Outfitters, GPA, Ann Taylor, EMS
 • The awesome bookstore
 • World Cafe Live
 • Locust Walk

And as far as traditions go:

 • throwing toast at football games
 • the Palestra
 • Franklin Field
 • The Line
 • The Red & Blue Crew
 • Skimmer
 • Hey Day
 • Fling
 • Penn Relays

Philadelphia

 • The Flyers, Sixers, Phillies, Eagles, and other professional sports teams
 • Performing arts centers like the Kimmel Center, Academy of Music, and anything on the Avenue of the Arts
 • Concert venus like the TLA
 • South Street
 • Chinatown
 • Reading Terminal
 • Italian Market
 • Public transportation that can get you anywhere
 • Constitution Center
 • Liberty Bell
 • Independence Hall
 • Fantastic restaurants
