Do more people receive 800s on Math IIC than any other subject?

Does collegeboard really give out more 800s for math iic than for any other subject test? Why? If not, how do you explain the myriads of people scoring 800 on math iic? Is there a quota for how many people can receive 800s?

math is one of those you can prepare for completely. it’s concrete and they tell you exactly what topics and types of problems are on the test. since it’s simple to predict and prepare for, lots of people get 800s.

there’s no quota, but if a lot of people get near-perfect raw scores (miss 0 or close to 0 problems) then the curve gets harder and less people can get 800s (sometimes you can miss like 9 problems and get an 800).

Korean and then Chinese language exams have the highest average test scores. I believe physics is the next highest after those.

because you can use a calculator!
you can just plug in the answers and find out the correct one.

I think 54% get 800s on Korean. It’s 50 something %.

4% get 800 on IIC

800 becomes 90% so yeah…more people get 800s on IIC than IC.

i heard that u can get 43 raw score on math II and still get 800…is this true? I know it differs slightly from one test to another but on average, can u miss like 5 questions and still get 800?

yes you can, drnoeyedea.

getting an 800 on the chinese test puts your about 60 percentile
800 in korean is like 75 percentile
