Do most private Universities look at 9th grade gpa ?

This question puzzle me a lot, worry me a lot. I am in the process of submitting my app. I
hesitate to try the top schools because if I include my 9th grade gpa, my total wt will
drop substantially and I know I have no chance. But I can explain the adveristy I had that time. And since then, I stood back up and worked hard. I improved my grades substanitially
Follwing are my stats

9th grade gpa 2.9 overall 9-11th grade gpa wt 3.5
10th grade 3.5
11th 4.2 over 10-11th grade gpa wt 3.96
12th 1st qtr 4.2

My grades are in an upwarding trend, no look back

my SAT 2200 with R 710 M 800 W 690
MY SAT subject test Math2 800
Physics 800
Chem 790
World history 770

Honors: PSAT Commended student
Berkeley ATDP
Volunteer hrs :over 400 over last 4 yrs with leadership post

Should I try Ivies, CMU, Johns hopkins ? Or, I just do a chance ?

Please help me clear the question so that I know exactly the kind of colleges I should
go after. Many many thanks

Many schools look at a full gpa…all years.
I hear that some discount freshman yr and look more heavily at jr yr…
You should talk with your GC about your GPA cumulative and rigor etc. since your test scores are high.

The ivies may be out of reach but I would not hesitate to try CMU level schools.

I know that Princeton does not look at senior year grades. They do, however, consider class rank, which is likely to be damaged by a subpar freshman year.
