Do not let anything discourage you from applying to Stanford!

kal ■■■■■■ may have an ulterior motive in concocting completely unfounded conspiracy theories (I am not referring to cavilier specifically). It may be a ploy to lower Stanford’s 95% cross-admit win rate against UC Berkeley.

Some colleges mail informational packets to students who have no chance of acceptance. When these students apply, they are immediately rejected. Universities do this to artificially depress their acceptance rate.

It’s possible that some universities are taking this one step further. Let’s suppose that each year, Stanford accepts 20 applicants who appear to be without hair. If these 20 tell others about how they were accepted with baldness, it could potentially encourage other bald students to apply. Most will be rejected, acceptance rates fall, and Stanford gains even greater prestige for being “exclusive”.

This is all speculation, and I certainly don’t mean to sully the kal ■■■■■’s epic fail. It’s just some food for thought.
