do premed frosh waive out of the "101" classes?

seeing as our more and more people are taking AP classes and gaining college credit, do MOST premed freshman waive out of say, the basic general chemistry class for a harder one first semester of freshman year? I’m saying this because my AP score didn’t qualify for waiving a credit of gen chem freshman year into a more advanced chem class at many schools I’m applying to (you need a 5 at most of these >_>)… so.

yeah, any thoughts?

Unless it is your major (like you are majoring in Chemistry or Biology), I think it would be overkill to take the higher level classes. (if you want to , great, but don’t feel like you have to) AP credit is not accepted as fufilling the pre med requirements.
