Do private colleges REALLY care about your HS records if you transfer in from a CC?

<p>I’ve decided to go to a small private college around where I live in order to save $ on housing - the thing is, I got my HS equivalent so I could leave HS early in order to go to a community college (starting this year)</p>

<p>My grades at CC are solid so far - all As in the classes I’ve taken <em>knock on wood</em></p>

<p>I think this has to do with the fact I’m motivated and happier at CC than I am in HS. I barely managed a 3.3 weighted GPA in my 2 years of HS so far. Problem is, I don’t want my HS record to take away my chances, when I’m trans. in from a junior college</p>

<p>Also, they require SAT scores - I’ll prolly take the SAT the year before I transfer - is this looked down upon (b/c most people take the SAT their senior year of HS…which I will have NOT had)</p>

<p>Depends on the school. If it’s small, I doubt they would care about your HS grades. As long as you have a year of CC units.</p>
