Do rejections come in a package?

my grandma who doesn’t really know english phoned to tell me she got a package from rice. she also told me in the package there was a letter with a lists of prices. however, i go to a boarding school and i don’t go home until weekends so i don’t get to see the package until 2 days later. i want to know if rejections come in packages, too. if not i’ll be the happiest person ever. thanks in advance.

I doubt a rejection would be more than 1 page, nor would it include any pricing information. It sounds like positive mail.

Acceptance letters come in a nice dark blue folder with a silver foil imprint of the Rice academic seal… or, at least, they used to. Good luck!

after much effort it is confirmed that I GOT IN!
woot woot

and thanks for answering me
i really appreciate your help :-)

and too bad i got rejected by cornell!
but then well both schools are excellent for architect i can’t really complain.

Oh, you got in as an ARCHI?! Major congratulations!

the rejections come in regular mail and is one envelope. no big package.

thanks price!
i heard there are only around 25 people in the class
which makes me feel pretty special

awesome, my friend is accepted at rice for arch, and i’m in for engineering. are you in-state?
